Social Anthropologist, essayist, diarist and former international swimmer. Born in Bruge, to a Swiss diplomat father and a Danish mother. He is the Great-Grandson of the designer of 'The Benson Chair' (a late-Victorian Jacobian writer's chair) and a distant relative of Sir Francis Lytton Snr. III (the notorious 16th Century scientist and explorer). Contributes articles to the ubiquitous and mysterious ecological education and campaigns organization The GAIA Initiative. Member of 'The Rainbow Club'.
